Kassym-Jomart Tokayev holds emergency Security Council meeting

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held an emergency meeting of the Security Council. The issues of further socio-economic development of Kazakhstan in connection with the situation over Ukraine were discussed there. The Head of State noted the need for the urgent adoption of an anti-crisis plan to respond promptly to the negative consequences of the imminent deterioration of the international situation as a result of the military-political and sanctions standoff. President Tokayev gave instructions to minimize potential economic and other risks to the country.
