Kazakh government develops program of action for 2022

The Kazakh government is working on this year’s Action Program. Departments are proposing the measures in their areas. Thus, the Ministry of Trade and Integration intends to work on the development of infrastructure to support non-primary exports and domestic trade. The measures presented by the Ministry of Education and Science include the improvement of the training system required by the labor market. The Ministry of Culture and Sports proposed its measures in the field of tourism. In particular, on the implementation of 192 investment projects. The Health Ministry will focus on the development of primary health care, especially in rural areas. The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population plans to develop a Social Code and a new Migration Policy Concept this year. The Ministry of Energy proposed measures to curb prices for electricity, as well as covering the needs of the domestic market in petroleum products, electricity, liquefied and commercial gas.

“All items of the Program should be practical and aimed at a real improvement in the quality of life of the population. It is necessary to develop effective measures so that the country’s citizens can feel positive change,” said Alikhan Smailov, Kazakh Prime Minister.
