Kazakhstan, US may increase partnership in agriculture

Kazakhstan and the United States plan to increase the level of cooperation in the security area, said the U.S. Ambassador to Kazakhstan William Moser during a round table dedicated to the end of his work. In addition, according to the speaker, he sees a huge potential for partnership in the agricultural sector. For example, the U.S. farmers can share their technologies with their Kazakh colleagues, which will certainly make local agricultural producers more competitive in the international market. Moreover, William Moser is confident that many Kazakh-made goods can win the hearts of foreign buyers, especially those that produced only in our country. Products “Made in Kazakhstan” have every chance of being popular in the U.S.

“It is now almost impossible to find Kazakh-made goods in the U.S. But I can say that this is a challenge for Kazakhstan to develop such sectors of the economy, to produce such goods that are competitive in the international market. I have already advised Kazakhstan that it is impossible to produce all goods, it is necessary to choose such products and such sectors where Kazakhstan has advantages,” Moser said.
