According to experts, the extension of the programs is the correct anti-crisis decision that will help small and medium-sized businesses.
“These programs are aimed at our people, business entities, market entities and this is a direct assistance to business. Business support. Therefore, I think that everything related to SMEs is always reflected in the agenda of the government and the president,” said Adil Kusmanov, consultant at the Center for Analysis and Monitoring of Socio-Economic Reforms.
Another topical issue that Kassym-Jomart Tokayev raised in his Address is science sphere. In the document, he outlined specific mechanisms for the development of the field. One of them is the issue of allocating grants to educational institutions that conduct fundamental research. According to an expert, for many years scientists have tried to find a solution to this problem.
“Doing research for three years is not easy, especially in such areas as mathematics, physics and chemistry, because it takes a lot more time. Hence, the proposal arose to extend the period by five years. This will allow conducting further long-term fundamental research,” added Alua Zholdybalina, Deputy Director of Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under Kazakh President.
