Kazakh PM instructs to introduce restrictive measures in COVID-19 red zones

Restrictive measures must be in effect, the work of monitoring groups must be strengthened, reserve beds in infectious hospitals must be prepared in all regions that are in the “red” zone, said Kazakh Prime Minister Askar Mamin at a government meeting. Currently, the “red” zone includes the cities of Nur-Sultan and Almaty, as well as Atyrau, West Kazakhstan and Karagandy regions. The PM gave a number of other instructions, including accelerating the vaccination rate in the country.
