The Kazakh government has adopted a set of anti-inflation response measures. The project to prevent the growth of prices for goods and services is designed to run until 2024 and includes 70 measures in two directions, including operational and medium-term ones. This includes decisions designed not only to contain price increases, but also to maintain inflation rates within the approved target corridor, Kazakh Minister of National Economy Asset Irgaliyev said. The list of measures includes digital transformation of processes, monitoring of trade markups, analysis of the workload of stabilization funds, and more. It is expected that a special office, which is planned to be established under the Ministry of Trade and Integration, will monitor the implementation of these tasks.
