“Open mind” open innovations forum takes place in Nur-Sultan

“Digital transformation and new quality of life.” “Open Mind” open innovations forum kicked off in Nur-Sultan online. It will last two days, where key topics will be discussed by quite a wide range of participants, from representatives of Kazakh Government to foreign developers of IT services and experts. This year’s event is dedicated to the development of digitalization during the pandemic. During the opening of the forum, participants touched upon the introduction of electronic ecosystems, as well as world experience in promoting culture of open innovations. The second part of the discussions will concern the development of startup projects in the country, as well as EdTech technologies and automation in education, the organizers noted.

“The pandemic left a very big imprint on these global trends. Indeed, the pandemic became a challenge for the whole mankind, for all countries, state apparatus. We remember very well the beginning of last year, when all systems of government infrastructure, including healthcare system, education system, experienced an enormous workload. We looked from the other side at the capabilities of telemedicine, at the capabilities of the information systems in healthcare. All this, of course, had a corresponding impact on the decision-making on how we should modernize the government infrastructure,” said Kairat Kelimbetov, AIFC Head and Chairperson for the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms.
