Kazakhstan reports 1,145 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours

Kazakhstan has again reported an increase in coronavirus cases. The country detected 1,145 new infections in the last 24 hours. The highest single-day increase in cases in the country falls on Nur-Sultan. The Kazakh capital recorded 343 new positive cases of COVID-19 in the past day. Karagandy region follows with 150 new infections. The city of Almaty is in third place with 109 new confirmed cases. Total COVID-19 cases in Kazakhstan exceed 405,000. According to the Kazakh Health Ministry, to date, over 21,000 patients continue to receive treatment for coronavirus. Of these, 7,500 are in inpatient care. More than 1.527 million Kazakh citizens have been fully vaccinated with two doses.
