Kazakhstan detects 1,068 COVID-19 cases in 24 hours

1,068 more coronavirus cases were registered in Kazakhstan in the past day. The most unfavorable epidemiological situation is seen in the capital. 294 people were infected with COVID-19 in Nur-Sultan. 160 people caught the infection in Karagandy region. Plus 112 in the city of Almaty. The total number of coronavirus cases in the country has exceeded 404,000 since the beginning of the pandemic. According to Kazakh Health Ministry, over 21,000 patients continue to receive treatment for coronavirus. 6,500 out of them are in hospitals. More than 1,408,000 people in the country have received both components of the coronavirus vaccine.
