Kazakhstan records 777 new COVID-19 cases

924 more patients reported to have recovered from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, their number in Kazakhstan increased to 123,215. According to the official data from Kazakh Health Ministry, 777 more COVID-19 cases were registered in the country in the last 24 hours.

To date, there are 139,159 COVID-19 cases in Kazakhstan, including in:

Nur-Sultan - 16,762 (+121)

the city of Almaty - 16,741 (+74)

Shymkent - 5,410 (+4)

Akmola region - 5,928 (+66)

Aktobe region - 3,544 (+5)

Almaty region - 6,017 (+38)

Atyrau region - 11,933 (+28)

East Kazakhstan region - 17,428 (+99)

Zhambyl region - 4,596 (+24)

West Kazakhstan region - 8,407 (+29)

Karagandy region - 11,358 (+30)

Kostanai region - 6,102 (+73)

Kyzylorda region - 3,304 (+2)

Mangystau region - 3,468 (+9)

Pavlodar region - 7,408 (+98)

North Kazakhstan region - 7,231 (+72)

In addition, 159 more pneumonia cases with COVID-19 symptoms and two deaths were recorded in Kazakhstan in the last 24 hours. 76 patients were reported to have recovered. A total of 43,498 such cases, 458 fatalities and 31,217 recoveries have been reported in the country since August 1.
