Kazakhstan to start issuing paper vaccine certificates from June 1

Paper Covid vaccine certificates will be issued in Kazakhstan starting June 1, stated the new decree of the country’s Chief State Sanitary Doctor Yerlan Kiyassov. The decree also notes that medical institutions should start organizing the coronavirus vaccination for people with disabilities by arranging home visits. Staring July 1, information on the vaccination of Kazakh citizens who received a vaccine abroad will be entered into domestic databases after the provision of supporting documents. In addition, the decree pointed out that responsible officials of health departments of the cities of Nur-Sultan, Almaty and Shymkent must enter data on the distribution of coronavirus vaccines in the vaccination module on a daily basis.
