Kazakhstan registers “Sputnik V” vaccine

Karagandy Pharmaceutical Complex registered the “Sputnik V” vaccine. According to the enterprise’s press service, on February 13, 2021 it received the conclusion of expert organization of Kazakh Health Ministry on safety, quality and effectiveness of the vaccine following the review on investigation of registration dossier. Kazakhstan became the 27th country to approve the “Sputnik V” vaccine. Karagandy Pharmaceutical Complex platform turned out to be the best prepared for manufacturing the finished form of the vaccine from the Russian substance. The health check conducted by experts confirmed that the production platform meets all the requirements for the production of the finished form of the coronavirus vaccine. Nearly 90,000 doses of the “Sputnik V” vaccine produced here will be delivered to all regions of the country by the end of February.
