Development of monkeypox treatment protocol underway in Kazakhstan

A treatment protocol for monkeypox is being developed in Kazakhstan. This was reported by the Kazakh Health Ministry. Within two or three weeks, it will be considered by the Joint Commission on the Quality of Medical Services under the Ministry. At present, the country has over 1,000 tests to detect the virus. However, there is no need to use them yet, the Kazakh Health Ministry stated. Even suspected cases of monkeypox have not been identified in Kazakhstan yet.
