162 people in Kazakhstan test positive for COVID-19

Coronavirus cases in Kazakhstan are on the rise. 162 people tested positive in the past 24 hours. Another 38 were diagnosed with pneumonia with the symptoms of the COVID-19 infection. The Kazakh Health Ministry reports that over 1,200 residents continue to receive treatment for the disease, including 172 people in inpatient care. The beginning of the fifth wave of coronavirus has been declared in a number of countries around the world.
