Kazakhstan to begin COVID-19 booster vaccination campaign in November

When will the revaccination campaign start in Kazakhstan? Health Minister Alexey Tsoy gave the answer to this question on his Facebook account. According to him, the launch of the booster shot rollout is scheduled for late November. First of all, the third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine will be administered to medical workers, teachers, and employees of local government bodies, closed institutions and law enforcement agencies, as well as citizens over the age of 60 with a negative COVID-19 antibody test. One dose of the vaccine will be used for the revaccination of Kazakh citizens. It is recommended to be administered six to nine months after full immunization, Tsoy said.
