Kazakhstan reports 1,496 COVID-19 cases in one day

The capital of Kazakhstan registered a new record number of coronavirus cases. 568 people were infected in Nur-Sultan in the past 24 hours. 186 residents of the city of Almaty tested positive for COVID-19. Plus 145 cases were confirmed in Karagandy region. Overall, 1,496 cases of the virus were reported in Kazakhstan in the last day. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the total number of the infected in the country has exceeded 413,000. According to the Health Ministry, to date, 1,793,400 people have been fully vaccinated with two components in Kazakhstan.
