“Horizons of Independence” exhibition opens

30 artists – 60 paintings. An exhibition dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s Independence has opened in Nur-Sultan. The well-known artists who presented the country at various international exhibitions and symposia took part in it. Among them is Dinara Nuger. She presented unique paintings from the “Balalyk Shak” collection.

“The works represent the generation, which, indeed, has lived since the establishment of the capital, who love this city, love the capital of our Independent State. These are the generations that will drive past Baiterek looking for the courtyards of their schools, or they will drive past the square where they lived as a child. There are works that I produced in 2018-2021. The authors of the work as well as all artists are of different ages and each developed in its own period,” said Dinara Nuger, member of Kazakhstan’s Union of Artists, exhibition participant.

Each of the works is made in a variety of techniques. This is painting, graphics, sculpture. Thus, through their works, the authors turn to the history, culture and chronicle of the Independent Kazakhstan, and also promote Kazakh fine arts abroad.
