‘Call of the steppe’ ballet premieres in Astana Opera

The ‘Call of the Steppe’ is a grandiose idea of the Kazakh and foreign staging teams. The premiere of the new national ballet was presented to the spectators of Nur-Sultan in the Astana Opera theater. Combining traditional elements of folk dance with stylized and graceful choreography was the idea of the famous foreign choreographer Patrick de Bana. He said that the music of Tiles Kazhygaliyev that accompanies the entire performance will allow spectators to immerse into the mystery of the Great Steppe. As for the decoration of the stage, everything was made in the style of minimalism to truly reflect all the beauty and elegance of the national ballet.

The wind, snow, the wideness, and nature, the animals and spirits. All this you can see. I really liked it, I enjoyed it very  much because it was like discovering very beautiful people, very beautiful dancers, very talented dancers and I enjoyed every day, every minute of it, said  choreographer Patrick de Bana.
