Trading volumes on securities market grow by record 43%

Interest in the stock market is growing in Kazakhstan, especially from retail investors.  Since the beginning of the year, Kazakh citizens have opened 23,000 new accounts on exchanges.  Analysts noted that the increased demand was accompanied by an increase in the cost of equity instruments on KASE and AIX.  It is against this background that the index of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange has increased by 21 percent since January, periodically updating its historical maximum.  At the same time, the start of the season of dividend payments may slow down this growth. In addition to profitability, there are positive trends in liquidity. The volume of trading in the securities market grew by a record 43 percent.
