Housing prices rise in Kazakhstan

The price on secondary housing in Kazakhstan has risen almost 26.5 percent. Brand new housing became approximately 20 percent more expensive, the Bureau of National Statistics reports. Primary housing market prices increased significantly in Aktobe, Nur-Sultan and Oskemen. The price increase of the square meter in these cities ranges from 26 to 32 percent. The growth leaders in the secondary housing market are Kyzylorda, Oskemen, Taldykorgan and Nur-Sultan. The prices there increased from 41 to 44 percent. A growth is also observed for rental housing. The rent became more expensive by almost 21 percent, especially in Almaty, where the rental prices increased by 47 percent compared to last year.
