Kazakhstan’s non-oil exports grow by 35 percent

Over the past five months of this year, Kazakhstan’s non-oil exports grew by almost 35 percent and approached the US$10 billion mark, the Ministry of Trade and Integration reports. The country has been exporting more ferroalloys, uranium, copper, zinc, aluminum, sulfur and wheat flour to foreign countries, data from the relevant ministry shows. It is also mentioned that Kazakhstan’s non-resource imports increased by 13 percent. In particular, it is the import of auto body parts and medicines.
