EU to help Kazakhstan return illegally withdrawn assets

The European Union is ready to assist in returning of assets withdrawn from Kazakhstan, stated EU Special Representative for Central Asia Terhi Hakala at the meeting at the Anti-Corruption Agency. The parties discussed the accountability for illicit enrichment and universal declaration of income and expenses, as well as measures to protect businesses. European colleagues positively assessed the placement of priorities in the country's anti-corruption policy.
