Kazakhstan starts accepting applications for preferential mortgage at two percent

Kazakhstan has started accepting applications for preferential loans for housing purchase. Mortgage within the "Bakytty Otbassy" program will be provided at two percent per annum with an initial 10 percent contribution for a period of 20 years. The housing loan is intended for large, single-parent families and children with special needs. According to the program terms, they will be able to purchase mortgage housing, both on the primary and secondary market. It is also allowed to purchase private housing. The maximum amount of credit is up to 15 million tenge in the capital and Almaty, including its peri-urban areas, as well as in Shymkent, Aktau and Atyrau. The loan will not exceed 10 million tenge in other regions.
