Kazakh producers tap into Israeli markets

Products made in Kazakhstan are becoming popular in stores of Israel. Domestic producers intensively tap into the new markets. For example, now candies made in Kazakhstan are available in one of the most popular supermarkets of Petah Tikva city. Local buyers purchase the products and have already drawn their own conclusions.

“The quality of products is high and good. Now the market will show how it is sold there competing with other producers of confectionery from the post-soviet space. I’d like to make this clear again, the quality is high. There is a very small amount of chemicals, which other producers usually use, so that the products are excellent,” said importing company representative Michael Goldstein.

Israeli companies are currently busy negotiating with Kazakh producers to export food products. Pasta, fish products and jam are likely to be supplied. Transport and logistics issues are also being addressed.

“We are set to hold a meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation in Nur-Sultan. At the moment, we are analyzing exports and imports between Israel and Kazakhstan, and we are planning to hold a forum between Kazakh and Israeli companies,” noted Kazakh Ambassador to Israel Satybaldy Burshakov.
