Kazakhstan boosts exports of sunflower oil

Kazakhstan boosted exports of sunflower oil. Since the beginning of 2022, the figures have grown by almost five times from 29,000 to 141,000 tonnes comparing to the same period of last year, the Kazakh Agriculture Ministry stated. The country supplies sunflower oil mostly to Uzbekistan. Afghanistan, Tajikistan and China also purchase the Kazakh-made product. Meanwhile, the country is expanding the market reach. Kazakhstan began to supply sunflower oil to the Czech Republic, Lithuania and Turkey.
