Kazakh Energy Ministry proposes to reorganize structure of oil supply to refineries

Kazakh Energy Ministry offered to reorganize the current structure of oil supplies to refineries and exclude unproductive intermediaries from it for the demonopolization of the oil products market. Kazakh Energy Minister Bolat Akchulakov noted that storage parks and loading docks of liquefied petroleum gas of the Atyrau Oil Refinery and the Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant currently belong to private organizations. They provide services for an additional fee, which, in turn, increases the final cost of gas. In this regard, the Energy Ministry proposed to work out the issue of returning facilities providing services for the throughput and storage of liquefied petroleum gas to oil refineries.
