Up to 100 million tenge (US$233,000) - for the development of business ideas! Kazakhstan starts receiving applications for participation in the Startup Bolashaq project. Both beginners and active entrepreneurs of our country can try out their skills. That is all who needs investments in their business. The organizers plan to cover all spheres of the economy, regardless of the activity. Today, more than 4,000 people have expressed a desire to participate. Mostly, there are young people.

“Applications are accepted until February 28. The selection of applications will be held for the month of March. At the end of March, we’ll publish a list of 20 participants, who will go to the city of Almaty for the semi-finals. All expenses related to tickets, accommodation, meals are fully paid by the organizer. There will be 20 semi-finalists within the semi-final - each of them is assigned a business mentor, who will completely help: how to write a business plan, how to prepare for a session with an investor, how to prepare a presentation,” said Alisher Dungenin, Executive Director, Bolashaq Association.

The fifth season of the Startup Bolashaq contest will be held in the format of the world reality show "Dragons' Den". It will be a business TV program where entrepreneurs present various business ideas to a group of investors in order to get money from them for development. 100 million tenge will be shared among the top 10 business projects. In previous seasons this amount was almost 7 times less.
