Business project competition kicks off in Kazakhstan
The best Kazakh startups will receive 10 million tenge (US$23,529). The start of the fifth season of the national competition ‘Startup Bolashaq’ has been announced in Nur-Sultan. It is aimed at supporting business initiatives of the country’s residents. Unlike in previous years, this time there will be no single winner. Support will be provided to 10 entrepreneurs, who want to start and develop their own business. The most promising ideas will be selected by a special commission, which includes prominent businesspeople and financiers. In addition, the finalists will be trained in financial modeling, business planning, negotiation and other useful skills to start or scale their business. The application submission to participate in the competition will last until January 20.
