Kazakh residents trade on world stock exchanges

15 percent of Kazakhstan’s population can become investors within three years. According to experts, to date, nearly 170,000 people in the country, or 1 percent of the population trade on world exchanges. For comparison, a quarter of residents in Russia are clients of brokerage companies. In the United States, their share is from 60 to 80 percent. Investing in the stock market is becoming more and more popular. You can earn up to 20 percent per annum, experts said. A new international investment and financial company entered the stock market of Nur-Sultan. Its representatives emphasize the great opportunities that open up for residents of the country who want to try their hand at sales.

“All the activities that we see here, that is, as I said, the growth of incomes of the population, a significant increase in the volume of deposits in the largest banks of Kazakhstan, and an increase in open brokerage accounts, suggests that there is interest in investments and in diversifying risks. Also, there is a willingness of the population to invest in various tools. We are ready to develop in this direction and help the citizens of Kazakhstan in this,” said Andrey Shulga, chairman, International Financial Organization.
