International Monetary Fund allocates nearly US$1.6 billion to Kazakhstan

The International Monetary Fund allocated to Kazakhstan special drawing rights worth almost US$1.6 billion, reported the press service of the country’s National Bank. The funds allocated by the organization will be used for exchange for a freely usable currency to adjust the composition of its international reserves or finance budgetary expenditures. In total, the IMF allocated US$650 billion to member countries.
