Kazakhstan to build two new gas processing plants

New gas processing plants will be built in Kazakhstan. One of them will be located in Atyrau region. This plant is capable of processing one billion cubic meters of raw materials per year and producing 800 million cubic meters of commercial gas. The construction of the plant should be completed in the fourth quarter of 2023. In addition, Mangystau region considers the possibility of building a new gas processing plant as well. The investments volume amounts to nearly US$350 million. The plant will produce 760 million cubic meters of gas per year. According to Energy Ministry, the volume of gas production in the country will reach 62 billion cubic meters in 2024.
