10 large Kazakh beekeepers enter registry of reliable exporters of Saudi Arabia

Nearly 3,000 agricultural enterprises in Kazakhstan are successfully selling their goods abroad, to the countries of the Eurasian Economic and European Unions, China, South Korea, Uzbekistan, the United Arab Emirates, Japan, Turkey and Saudi Arabia. The registry of reliable suppliers of the latter was replenished by several large domestic beekeepers for the first time this year.

“2,975 enterprises of the agro-industrial complex are companies manufacturing livestock products, that is, meat, dairy and fish products, feed and feed additives, beekeeping products, veterinary medicines as well as raw materials of animal origin. We have conducted work since the beginning of the year. 10 Kazakh enterprises for the production of honey and beekeeping products were included in the list for export to Saudi Arabia,” said Aidana Kozybayeva, Press Secretary of the Veterinary Control and Supervision Committee of Kazakh Ministry of Agriculture.

Today, the export of high-quality and organic products is a priority for Kazakhstan. Hundreds of enterprises received international recognition of the quality and safety of Kazakhstan-made products. The work in this direction continues.

“Four enterprises were additionally included in the Chinese list. These are three enterprises for dairy products and one enterprise for fish products. Export to Korea is also open, including four Kazakh companies of dairy products in the registry. Turkey includes four enterprises for the export of skins. The United Arab Emirates register includes six Kazakh meat processing enterprises,” Kozybayeva added.

This year, Kazakh Ministry of Agriculture has done a lot of work, which made it possible to significantly expand the product line and open new markets in the EU, the countries of Southeast Asia and Turkey. Despite the pandemic, Kazakh agricultural producers remain, as they say, “on top”, successfully selling their products almost all over the world.
