The National Kurultai will become a new development milestone for citizens living in Kazakhstan and for ethnic Kazakhs living abroad, said Abdulvahab Kara, a professor at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in Turkey. The expert believes that the Kurultai is a good platform for discussing important issues of the country's development.
“I appreciate the fact that the National Kurultai, which was held on the sacred land of Ulytau, is one of the most important decisions in the implementation of the idea of a New Kazakhstan by the country’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. It is a great initiative to strengthen national unity and cooperation. And we are hoping that the problems of Kazakhs living abroad will also be addressed at the kurultais,” said Abdulvahab Kara.
