Kazakhstan plans to increase the income of more than 200,000 members of the production staff of the quasi-public sector, Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister Yeraly Tugzhanov said at a meeting on the implementation of the Comprehensive plan for the “Program to Increase Incomes of the Population until 2025.” All ministries and governors of all regions of the country, including villages, will be responsible for this program.

“We came to an agreement to discuss specific sectors, so that we will be able to make appropriate decisions related to salary increases and improving the well-being of citizens working in the production sector. There are a lot of widely known large companies linked to the Samruk-Kazyna Welfare Fund. Measures must be taken to increase wages of working production staff. The plan placed an emphasis on improving the conditions of over 200,000 employees working in companies that are members of the Samruk-Kazyna Fund,” the minister said.
